At Research & OFF99 (AKA the folks putting this on) events, we prioritize safer spaces on our dance floors. We want to make sure that folks are on board with that mission.

For our members only events (which ‘Great Year For It’ falls under), there is a simple process before non-members can buy tickets. Membership is free.

Step 1: Complete a membership request

This should only take a few minutes. After this is done, give us a few days to get back to you via email. Check your spam if you don't see it / list researchseattle1@gmail.com as not spam!

Step 2: Create An Account

Keep your eye on an email from us with the link to create an account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to buy tickets for Great Year For It, as well as all future Research + OFF99 events. You only need to create an account once. When you create your account, make sure to use the email that you used when completing your membership application.

If you’re a Research member, just login to your account.

Step 3: Buy Tickets

Once you're approved and have created an account, you'll be able to checkout and buy tickets. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as the majority of our recent events have sold out up ahead of time.

The location will be sent to ticketholders on the day of the show. It is at a warehouse in the South Seattle / Georgetown area.

There is a direct bus line from Capitol Hill to the area. On NYE, King County Metro is free and runs later than normal, and we strongly encourage taking advantage of this. Anyone found driving under the influence coming to or leaving will result in a permanent ban from all our events.

Born in Chicago and now based in LA, this NTS Radio resident boasts over 30 years of experience DJ'ing. Zernell has showcased his talents at internationally respected clubs and events, including Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, Dekmantel Selectors in Croatia, A Club Called Rhonda in LA, and smartbar in Chicago. His style seamlessly oscillates between the core of disco and the soul of Chicago house music, adding a unique, grimy twist.

SUCCUBASS

The moniker of Jess Duran, a deep root of Seattle's electronic music scene since 2013. Jess's sound is characteristically unbeholden to genres or tempo, proving her prowess in all fields.

CRASH LANDON

When Crash Landon’s sounds start pouring, the listener’s cosmic summertime begins – all things Balearic, leisurely, spacey, international, with a touch of disco and house.

That sun-soaked style threads through all of Crash Landon’s grooves, most recently heard on the EP he dropped this year as ‘Adriatic Tempo,’ (Low Recordings, LA) created alongside LA-based producer and DJ Jake B.

Prior to relocating to Seattle in 2020, Crash Landon co-curated the LA-based Midnight Therapy after hours event, which had Seb Wildblood (UK), Joutro Mundo (Brazil) and Esa Williams (South Africa/UK) visit alongside amazing local talent.
